Introducing Reese Cooper, the emerging brand named after the 22-year-old creator. Cooper takes inspiration from vintage Americana and the outdoors to craft the brand's identity, while aiming to inspire young creatives and to protect the planet in process. He is the youngest designer ever to be named a finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
His Spring/Summer '21 collection is titled "River Runs Through" and features a completely custom designed camouflage print found on the Brushed Cotton Work Jacket and Cargo Pants. All pieces are made in Los Angeles, California with excerpts from the creator's story found "patched" on each piece of outerwear: "This is a story fueled by escapism and exploration. Clothing, objects and visuals inspired by what you need, what you cherish and what you acquire on the journey."
We are inspired by the people and businesses in our state pushing the creative community forward. We traveled to The Gathering Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma to shoot our first delivery from Reese Cooper to align with the brand's outdoor aesthetic. The Gathering Place, deemed "A Place for Everyone," opened in 2018 and has been recognized by Time Magazine, National Geographic, and was named America's Best New Attraction by USA Today in 2019.
